Kate Stewart Ronver of Plano, Texas, won amateur Best of Show at the 2010 championships with her Lemon Swirl Cream Cheese Pie. The winning pie
A crust of vanilla wafer crumbs, toasted ground almonds, lemon zest and melted butter is pressed into the plate and baked. The lemon cream cheese filling is swirled with reserved homemade lemon curd. The Herald describes a border of piped whipped cream with fresh raspberries and lemon slices; Baking Bites likened the pie to a cheesecake.
