Grace Thatcher of Delta, Ohio, won amateur Best in Show in 2016 with Totally Biscoff Pie, first in the Open category. The APC’s recipe archive spells the pie Totaly Biscoff Pie.
The winning pie
Ground Biscoff cookies and melted butter form the crust. The filling beats cream cheese, Biscoff spread, cream and powdered sugar and folds in whipped cream. A Biscoff cream cheese frosting is piped in eight circles around the edge, and the pie carries truffles of semisweet chocolate, butter, cream and Biscoff spread.
